Graven Image has become friends of the label over the past year and a half. They began playing shows with honeybrandy across southwest Virginia through the winter of '18/'19. The following September, we were honored to have them open up our ten-year anniversary show. After their set, we began talking about tracking an EP together.

We settled on a session at the Old City Cemetery Chapel in Lynchburg - the same location we had used for a few live recordings from the likes of Ben Mauch and Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon (HSAL #27, #39). Short of some miminal vocal processing, this EP is heard as we heard it live on that cool November afternoon.
